Prediction

  • Genclerbirligi caused a massive upset as they beat Fenerbahce 2-1 last time out. Despite continuing to struggle at the back and benefiting from some horrendous finishing by their opponents, they looked more positive going forward. Perhaps most importantly, they fought for every ball and showed, after a long while, an intent to stay up. Compared to fellow relegation contenders, Genclerbirligi lack talent so fighting hard might be the only way to their survival.
  • Kasimpasa were held to a 1-1 draw by Konyaspor last time out. Despite controlling possession, Capa's side looked toothless on the day, creating very little clear-cut chances. Of all the teams hovering around the relegation zone barring Basaksehir, Kasimpasa boast the most individual talent and this places them in a pole position in the survival race. We can expect one of those to talents to step up in this away fixture, as they've done so many times this season.
  • Genclerbirligi have the morale, and Kasimpasa have the talent. A draw is very likely here.
