- Hernán Crespo was announced as Sao Paulo's new manager in midweek after an impressive managerial spell with Defensa Y Justicia in Argentina. He led the side to Copa Sudamericana glory earlier this year, the first major trophy in the club's history. Crespo's tenure will begin at the start of the 2021 season. Interim coach, Marcos Vizolli, will take charge of their final two games this term.
- Igor Gomes, Pablo and Juanfran return from suspension here but now Igor Vinicius is banned.
- Gabriel Menino is out here after spraining his ankle against Coritiba.
