Team News

Hull
Sunderland
  • Marco Silva hopes Omar Elabdellaoui can play again this season but this game will come too soon. The Hull manager won't recover any of his injured players this weekend. All in all, few changes are expected from the sides that have been picked in recent weeks.
  • Sebastian Larsson has served his three-game suspension and Sunderland will likely welcome him back into the team to provide some fresh legs.
  • David Moyes may still be without a host of players that are struggling with minor injuries, thus making it difficult to predict what team he can get out this weekend.

Prediction

  • Marco Sivla hasn't lost a domestic home game in over three years as a manager and will be confident of dispatching an already relegated Sunderland side to ease his own team's relegation fears. Hull start the weekend two points above the bottom three and this fixture will be huge for them.
  • Sunderland were relegated to the Championship last weekend after failing to match Hull's draw against Southampton and now have nothing to play for but pride for their supporters. However, they have only won once since before Christmas and it's hard to see them turning it around and finishing the season well.

  • Why is everyone so surprised for this result sunderland did beat hull last time round 3-0 and before that drew 1-1 so sunderland are a bogey team for Hull plus Hull had more pressure to win and didn't look that good in last match where they were saved by a penalty save to get a draw while sunderland were a team who had nothing to lose but to finish the season off with some style.

  • 2-1

  • Hull will win this and Swansea will lose against Everton.

  • @sarigginsUSA wow what a good prediction man

  • A Hull win I both hope for and predict. It remains to be seen the approach of the two managers for this game. Should David Moyes adopt a new approach for this contest he will be playing a very dangerous game and risk making himself look very foolish. We will see what approach a clever manager like Silva has for an already relegated team. Will he play more expansive football than normal? Will Sunderland? If Sunderland play more expansive than normal Niasse may be a big danger on the counter attack. Niasse is due goals. Hull win.

  • Hull 2 - 0 Sunderland. Nervy, but vital win for Hull.

  • Hull 2-0 Sunderland

  • Both teams are even although Sunderland need the points more they will win the game 2-1.

  • @Khanya They don't need the points anymore mate, they've already been relegated.
