Chelsea-Liverpool draw among six predicted scores for £1m jackpot

In partnership with Betfair, there is a new free-to-play score predictor exclusively to WhoScored.com, with huge cash prizes to be won.

There’s £/€1,000,000 at stake for any player who correctly predicts all six scores from the selected matches, while there are consolation prizes for those who get four or five of the scorelines spot on. Prizes will be shared in the eventuality of multiple winners.

The big difference with this game, however, is that you will receive real money ‘cash out’ offers between matches, so if you’re first four predictions have come in, for example, and you get a little twitchy, there’s still the chance to make a tidy profit on, well, nothing at all! All you need to do is set up a Betfair account if you don’t have one already, with a sign-up offer of £100 in free bets for new customers.

The following are our six predictions for this weekend’s selected matches in the Premier League.

Everton vs Fulham - Full match preview
Saturday, 3pm KO

It’s been a disappointing start to the season for these two sides, with just one win apiece, and both managers have one clear issue after the first six matches of the campaign. Tallies of eight goals respectively aren’t really a problem at this stage after all, though two rank among the bottom four teams in the entire league for goals conceded thus far (Everton 11, Fulham 13). With that in mind we’re backing a high-scoring, end-to-end affair at Goodison, with Betfair paying out for any score draw above 1-1.

Newcastle vs Leicester - Full match preview
Saturday, 3pm KO

Without a win to their name thus far, it goes to show how tough Newcastle’s start has been that this is - on paper - their most favourable home game to date. Leicester have been relatively hit and miss until now, with three wins and three defeats, but this match looks like being their tightest yet. Newcastle’s goals against column of eight is, after all, pretty impressive given they have faced four of the ‘big six’ already.

Wolves vs Southampton - Full match preview
Saturday, 3pm KO

Following a relative stroll to the Championship title last season, Wolves have acclimatised to life back in the top-flight with the ease most expected. A stalemate with Manchester United last weekend was the least they deserved and back at Molineux they will be confident of inflicting a fourth defeat of the season on Saints. It’s unlikely to be a high scoring game between two well drilled teams in the most part but the hosts have more quality in attack and should win out.

Chelsea vs Liverpool - Full match preview
Saturday, 5.30pm KO

Coming to blows for the second time in just four days, it was Chelsea who came out on top at Anfield, with Eden Hazard scoring a sublime solo goal from the bench to turn the tables after Liverpool had taken the lead. While there were a number of changes to both sides in midweek it was quite an even encounter, which followed the suit of most recent meetings between the two. None of the last six meetings between the Blues and Reds have been separated by more than a single goal, and we can’t separate them on Saturday either, with 1-1 a particularly familiar scoreline in this fixture.

Cardiff vs Burnley - Full match preview
Sunday, 4pm KO

It’s been the difficult start to life back in the Premier League that most predicted for Cardiff and while a heavy home defeat to the champions was to be expected last time out, the Bluebirds are struggling for confidence. The same was true of Burnley ahead of last weekend, but a 4-0 thumping of Bournemouth has certainly reinstated some belief in the Clarets and they’ll be keen to build momentum after a troubled start of their own. It’s unlikely to be a ‘Super Sunday’ in Wales, but Burnley won’t mind a drab affair if they can nick another three points.

Bournemouth vs Crystal Palace - full match preview
Monday, 8pm KO

After disappointing results last weekend these two sides bounced back with victories in the League Cup and can be pleased by their seasons so far all in all. The Cherries will be slight favourites given their home advantage but Palace have now kept three consecutive clean sheets and pose a real threat on the counter away from Selhurst Park. Both meetings between these two teams last season end in a share of the spoils and we’re backing a hat-trick of draws to finalise our predictions this week.
