AC Milan have closed the gap to third-place Inter to two points after winning for the third game in succession in Serie A. Inter were the only side from the top-six in Italy that failed to win, with Juventus grinding out a hard-fought 1-0 win away to Bologna to maintain their 13-point lead at the top of table.

5. Piotr Zielinski (Napoli) – 8.33 rating

 

Napoli ran out 4-0 winners away to Parma on Sunday to pull nine points clear of Inter in second-place. Piotr Zielinski scored his first league goal since December in the rout, while also registering two key passes and completing three dribbles.

 

4. Camillo Cano (Frosinone) – 8.22 rating

 

Frosinone came up short in a five-goal thriller against Roma on Saturday but can take pride from their performance. Camillo Ciano was directly involved in both goals. The 29-year-old gave Frosinone a shock lead before assisting their second goal of the game in the 80th-minute. He had three shots, registered three key passes and was fouled five times in the 3-2 loss to Roma.

 

3. Arkadiusz Milik (Napoli) – 8.56 rating

 

Arkadiusz Milik netted his 13th and 14th league goals of the season in Napoli’s 4-0 win over Parma. The Poland international scored twice from three attempts, while also winning one tackle and making two clearances.

2. Edin Dzeko (Roma) – 9.31 rating

 

Edin Dzeko’s contribution to Roma’s match against Frosinone was worth three points. The Bosnia international scored the equaliser for Roma in the 30th-minute before scoring the winner in the fourth-minute of injury time. Dzeko also completed five dribbles against Frosinone, which is a personal record in a Serie A game this season.

AC Milan midfielder Samu Castillejo finished gameweek 25 as the highest WhoScored rated player in Serie A after playing a direct hand in two goals in a 3-0 win over Empoli. The 24-year-old scored and assisted in a league game for the first time as an AC Milan player, while also winning as many aerial duels as his previous nine league games combined (3). Castillejo had five shots in total, registered two key passes and completed three dribbles.
