Goalkeeper – LEE GRANT (STOKE)
Injury to Jack Butland means Lee Grant has been given an extended run in the team. The Potters are not in great form, but a match against Swansea on Saturday presents Mark Hughes’ side the ideal chance to get back on track.
Swansea are winless in their last seven matches and have now failed to score in each of their last four outings. Grant isn’t expected to hold down his starting berth when Butland returns to full fitness, but he can do his reputation no harm in this match.
Defender – KIERAN TRIPPIER (TOTTENHAM)
Tottenham have stuttered of late, but will hope to return to winning ways and close in on the top four this weekend. Kieran Trippier is expected to regain his place in the team at Watford, whom he has fond memories against.
In fact, five of the 11 Premier League goals Trippier has scored or assisted have come against Watford. This will be a tough game for Mauricio Pochettino’s side and Trippier could prove the key to unlocking their defence.
Defender – SHKHODRAN MUSTAFI (ARSENAL)
The Germany international finished November as the WhoScored Player of the Month in the Premier League and he will need to be at his best to keep out Manchester United’s attack on Saturday.
Shkodran Mustafi has won the WhoScored Man of the Match in two of his last three outings for Arsenal and is currently a Yahoo! Top-20 rated player. No Premier League player (3+ starts) required fewer minutes per interception in the month of November than Mustafi (1 every 24.5 minutes of action).
Defender – JONJOE KENNY (EVERTON)
After Everton’s huge 4-0 win over West Ham on Wednesday, Sam Allardyce will be confident of earning three points in his first game in charge when the Toffees welcome Huddersfield on Saturday.
Huddersfield have lost their last three in the Premier League and failed to score in their last 641 minutes of action away from home in all competitions. That is more than 10 hours without a goal on the road!
Midfielder – XHERDAN SHAQIRI (STOKE)
The 26-year-old is currently enjoying his best football for Stoke having played a direct hand in eight goals in 13 Premier League matches. In fact, that is half of the goals Stoke have scored this season and Hughes will hope for more magic from his best player when they host a terrible Swansea side on Saturday.
Midfielder – MESUT OZIL (ARSENAL)
The Germany international offered a reminder of his qualities in midweek after turning in a mouth-watering performance in Arsenal’s 5-0 win over Huddersfield. It was the first time in his Premier League career that he has played a direct hand in three goals in one match and he did so in a devastating four-minute spell.
Mesut Ozil has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United and on Saturday he will have the chance to showcase exactly what Jose Mourinho’s side are missing.
Midfielder – GYLFI SIGURDSSON (EVERTON)
The Iceland international hasn’t managed to hit the heights expected since his near £50m arrival over the summer, but there have been signs in Everton's last three matches that he is closing in on his best form. Sigurdsson has scored or assisted in each of his last three appearances and should be eyeing more goals this weekend.
Huddersfield have conceded at least three goals in each of their last games three on the road and that should only give Sam Allardyce’s team more confidence as they look to move away from the bottom three.
Midfielder – SADIO MANE (LIVERPOOL)
Liverpool will look to ramp up the pressure on those above them this weekend when they make the trip to Brighton on Saturday. Each of the last six goals than Sadio Mane has played a direct hand in (two goals, four assists) have come away from home, so he is certainly a player you should consider in your teams this weekend.
Utility – AARON RAMSEY (LIVERPOOL)
An unheralded performer for Arsenal this season, Aaron Ramsey has played a direct hand in eight goals in 13 Premier League appearances from central midfield this season. Six of those goals have come in his last six appearances (two goals, four assists).

Forward – MOHAMED SALAH (LIVERPOOL)
It’s impossible to keep the Premier League’s top scorer out of your team at the moment. Mohamed Salah has made a devastating start to his Liverpool career, scoring 12 goals in his opening 14 league appearances.
Seven of those goals have been scored away from Anfield this season and Jurgen Klopp will hope the 25-year-old can continue his fine goalscoring form away to newly promoted Brighton this weekend.
Forward – DANNY WELBECK (ARSENAL)
Danny Welbeck is expected to get the nod against former club Manchester United on Saturday with Alexandre Lacazette sidelined. The 27-year-old has scored three goals in four appearances against his boyhood club and will be eager to make the most of a rare opportunity to start.
