Fanteam Fantasy Football: Vardy to extend top-six record at Arsenal's expense

Unsure who to pick for your XI? We've got you covered again! Now we will go through three of our picks in detail and also release our full XI for everyone to see!

Jamie Vardy (Leicester) - 11.2M

Leicester will aim to take another step towards confirming a top-four berth this season and this weekend and could even head into the international break in second if they beat Arsenal and Liverpool beat Manchester City on Sunday.

The Foxes are in confident mood at the moment, having won their last three in the league and five of their last six. Brendan Rodgers' side will host an underperforming Arsenal side on Saturday evening and will be disappointed if they don't win.

Arsenal have only won one of their last six matches in all competitions and have drawn their last four. The Gunners have only won two away games in all competitions this season and are there for the taking for Leicester, particuarly with Jamie Vardy in red hot form.

The 32-year-old is the top scorer in the Premier League this season (10 goals) and has scored seven of those in his last five. Vardy also has a tremendous record against the established top-six sides. In fact, Arsenal is Vardy's favourite opponent in terms of goals scored in his career (eight).

Anthony Martial (Manchester United) - 10.8M

Anthony Martial's return to full fitness has brought on Manchester United's attack leaps and bounds in recent weeks and they look all the better with him in the starting XI. The Red Devils scored multiple goals in a home match for the first time since the opening weekend of the season in Thursday's victory over Partizan Belgrade.

Martial started up front alongside Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford in midweek and it supplied Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with a blueprint how he wants his side to link up and attack. Martial was in the thick of the action and should have really scored more than once, though his goal was a sensational bit of indivdual skill.

The 23-year-old has five goals in seven starts in all competitions for United this season and will look to add to his tally when United welcome Brighton on Sunday. The Seagulls have won three of their last four matches but are winless in their last three on the road and have failed to win their previous three Premier League matches at Old Trafford.

Tanguy Ndombele (Tottenham) - 10.5M

It's still difficult to know where Tottenham are under Mauricio Pochettino and things won't settle until they put a run of wins together. Their only two victories in their last seven matches in all competitions were both against FK Crvena Zvezda, in which they impressively scored nine goals without conceding.

Tottenham have only won three Premier League matches this season, as many as Newcastle and less than Brighton. This weekend they will have to be at their best as they welcome Sheffield United, who have the joint best defensive record in the league (eight goals conceded) and are one of only two unbeaten sides away from home.

Sheffield United have already drawn at Chelsea, defeated Arsenal at home and held Liverpool to a narrow 1-0 defeat. Pochettino will need his creative players at the peak of their powers to penetrate Sheffield United's resolute defence. Tanguy Ndombele has proved he is capable of picking a pass already during his brief Tottenham career and could be the man to unlock Sheffield United's defence.

The 22-year-old has played a direct hand in five goals in 13 league and European appearances, which is all the more impressive considering his disruptive start to the season through injury.
