Fanteam Fantasy Football: Hudson-Odoi's form worth noting for GW9

Now the international break is done and dusted we can switch our focus back to league action this weekend. We have picked our Fanteam Fantasy Football XI with careful consideration for gameweek nine and are willing to share our tips with our users.

Fanteam have enabled a new safety net feature this weekend to give users the best possible chance of scoring top points. This means that if you have a player not playing from the start of the match, he will be replaced automatically with a player from the same team, same position, and price equal or cheaper than your original player. If there is no replacement player that meets all the conditions, no replacment will be made.

There are two entry points into this weekend's contest. Spent €2 to have a chance of winning a slice of €6,500 or €20 for a chance of winning €50,000. You can spend €200 for a chance of winning a slice of €5,000, which may seem ridiculous when you can spend less to win more but only 35 seats are available for the €200 buy in, compared to 2777 places for the €50k jackpot.

Fanteam Fantasy Football: Hudson-Odoi's form worth noting for GW9

Callum Hudson-Odoi (Chelsea) - 8.3M

Callum Hudson-Odoi has endured a long road back from a ruptured Achilles tendon suffered earlier this year but the early signs are hugely positive for Chelsea. There are always concerns whether a player will come back the same from an injury as severe as Hudson-Odoi's but the 18-year-old has already managed some eye-catching displays.

The Chelsea teenager has played a direct hand in a goal in all four of his appearances since returning from injury at the end of September. Hudson-Odoi averages a goal or an assist every 55 minutes of action for Chelsea this season and scored twice for the England U21s at the start of the week. Though Newcastle are coming off a 1-0 win over Manchester United, Frank Lampard's side are expected to run out winners here.

Adama Traore (Wolves) - 8.3M

When Adama Traore first arrived to English football it was clear the hulking winger has immense dribbling ability but his final ball was severly lacking. That appears to have changed this season, with the 23-year-old developing into a key player for Wolves.

Traore scored both goals in Wolves' 2-0 win away to Manchester City before the international break and in that game managed to net more times than he did in 29 league appearances last season (1). The Spaniard also has one assist to his name this season, matching his tally from the enterity of last term.

Callum Wilson (Bournemouth) - 11.8M

Bournemouth welcome newly promoted Norwich on Saturday and will look to get back to winning ways following a three-match winless streak. Norwich themselves are not in great form, losing six of their eight league games this season, including a 5-1 defeat at home to Aston Villa before the break.

Callum Wilson has scored five goals in eight league appearances this season and three in four on home soil. Eddie Howe will be leaning on his lead frontman to fire his side to victory this weekend when they welcome the league's worst defence (21 goals conceded).
