Countdown: Payet and Pogba among the worst finishers in Europe

Following on from last week’s countdown of the most clinical teams in Europe here we look at the opposite end of the spectrum, instead assessing the players, rather than clubs, with the lowest conversion rates.

With no player to have had more than 30 shots having failed to score in Europe’s top 5 leagues this season, we’ve compiled the top (or bottom) ten of those to muster more than 40 attempts at goal. It’s a star-studded list, with a French connection as far as Payet and Pogba are concerned, but where do they rank among the continent’s most profligate stars?
