Arsenal are back in Premier League action on Sunday afternoon as they host Aston Villa at the Emirates Stadium. 

Mikel Arteta’s side will be hoping to continue at the top of the Premier League table, after the 3-0 victory at Brighton last weekend. 

The Gunners were held to an entertaining 2-2 draw with Bayern Munich in midweek, and could have one eye on their return leg in Germany on Wednesday. 

Arsenal were beaten at Villa Park in the reverse fixture back in December, but have won their last two home meetings with the Villans. 

Arteta looks set to be without only long-term absentee Jurrien Timber, who is edging closer to a full return from injury. 

For Villa, the likes of Emi Buendia, Tyrone Mings and Boubacar Samara remain sidelined, while key man Douglas Luiz is suspended.
