Spain vs Georgia Key Battle
Alvaro Morata was one of many dropped to the bench for Spain's final group stage win over Albania. With top spot already secured, the La Roja skipper played just 18 minutes on Monday, so will be fit and raring to go against Georgia tonight. Morata has already scored once at Euro 2024 and will look to add to that in Cologne.
However, Morata and a bulk of of Spain teammates will be up against a familiar face. Giorgi Mamardashvili has been a revelation for Georgia at Euro 2024 having made more saves (21) than any other goalkeeper at the tournament. Morata failed to score in his two meetings with Valencia last season, which bodes well for Mamardashvili and his Georgia teammates.
