You vs WhoScored: WhoScored Expert MondoGoal XI - Gameweek 35

Thibaut Courtois - £10.4m (home vs Crystal Palace)

The Belgian stopper is expected to return to the Chelsea team after missing the win at Leicester with a hip injury in midweek, and with the Blues just 1 win away from wrapping up the title, the in-form goalkeeper will be aiming for a fourth consecutive clean sheet. Crystal Palace's players already seem like they are on the beach; with safety assured they have suffered successive home defeats to struggling West Brom and Hull, so are unlikely to trouble the Blues' goal too much.

Carl Jenkinson - £5.6m (home vs Burnley)

West Ham team may seem like they are letting their season peter out, but this weekend, at home to a Burnley team without a goal in 5 matches - the longest current goalless run in Europe - they could be back to winning ways. The Hammers have conceded more than once in 3 home Premier League games all season so Jenkinson, a cheap option in defence, could be a good pick.

Chris Smalling - £8.7m (home vs West Brom)

In-form Smalling will hope to have United back to their organised best on home soil after successive defeats on the road. His team have the best home record in the Premier League this season with 43 points from 17 games, while this week's visitors, West Brom, have the worst goalscoring record on the road, with only 11 goals so far. Smalling also has 4 goals this season, including one in his last appearance at Old Trafford.

John Terry - £8.8m (home vs Crystal Palace)

The Chelsea captain became the highest scoring defender in Premier League history this week, taking his tally to 38 goals, and with his attacking teammates struggling for their best form, he may again be needed at offensive set-pieces. The Blues' defenders have been incredibly effective all season and Palace, who boast a WhoScored weakness of 'defending set pieces' could be in for a long afternoon.

Ritchie De Laet - £5.6m (home vs Newcastle)

Leicester's 4-match winning streak was brought to an end on Wednesday night but on Saturday, at home to a Newcastle side who have lost an incredible 7 games in a row, should be back to winning ways. The Magpies have the third worst away Premier League record this season, with only 13 points gained, and they are really struggling for goals on the road at the moment, so De Laet, who is expected to deputise for the injured Robert Huth, could be a decent cheap option at the back.

Marouane Fellaini - £8.7m (home vs West Brom)

Fellaini has found himself to be one United's most important players in their recent renaissance, and though both Chelsea and Everton managed to quash his threat, back at Old Trafford, where he has scored in 2 his last 3 appearances, he could trouble a West Brom defence that has been rather shaky of late.

Raheem Sterling - £11.5m (home vs QPR)

Sterling has been struggling for form but a game at home to struggling QPR could be the perfect opportunity to put an end to that. The Rs have the worst away record in the Premier League, and the worst away defence, having conceded 36 goals in 16 matches. Sterling, who starred in Liverpool's 3-2 win at Loftus Road back in October, will pose a significant threat to the visitor's survival hopes.

Marc Albrighton - £4.4m (home vs Newcastle)

At just £4.4m, Albrighton, who has barely played all season but suddenly became crucial as Leicester embarked on their recent 4-game winning streak, is a snip in this week's selections. A goal against champions-elect Chelsea in midweek and a WhoScored rating of 8.20 makes him one of the Premier League's most in-form midfielders, so against a Newcastle side in free fall he is a must have.

Sergio Aguero - £14.0m (away vs Tottenham)

Spurs won't be happy to see Sergio Aguero this Sunday. The Argentine loves playing against Tottenham, having netted 9 goals in his 6 appearances against them, including an astonishing 7 in his last 3 and 4 in the reverse fixture. He has also rediscovered his goalscoring touch recently, with 4 goals in his last 3 appearances, and Spurs could struggle to contain him this weekend as he chases down the golden boot.

Alexis Sanchez - £13.6m (away vs Hull)

Arsenal were been knocked out of second spot last week but their fate is still in their own hands and they won't want to slip up at Hull on Monday night as they look to maintain momentum ahead of their FA Cup Final next month. Sanchez will, as always, provide the main threat going forwards, and with 2 goals and 2 assists in just 2 appearances against the Tigers, he could put Steve Bruce's side right back in the relegation battle.

Graziano Pelle - £8.7m (away vs Sunderland)

After a Premier League goal drought that spanned nearly 4 months, Pelle has 3 goals in his last 3 appearances and is now rightly considered in-form in the Mondogoal power rankings. Saints face Sunderland this weekend, who they thrashed 8-0 in the reverse fixture, and this time around the WhoScored match forecast predicts that Southampton will score from a wing play situation, and Pelle, who displayed his fantastic aerial ability against Tottenham last week, could well be the grateful recipient.
