Arsenal storm into the top-10 form rankings after battering Burnley

Lyon landed an 8th successive league win at the weekend as they secured a 3-0 victory over Troyes to maintain their pursuit for second. The French giants have gained an impressive WhoScored.com rating of 7.44 over their last six matches, better than any team in Europe's top 5 leagues over that period, and they don’t look like slowing anytime soon.

Bayern Munich retain 2nd spot with the German outfit not resting on their laurels after their title success. They’ve now won their last six league matches, with their WhoScored.com rating a notable 7.31 in that time. Marseille round off the podium as they push for a top-3 finish. The Europa League finalists are unbeaten in their last six, winning four, and have attained a WhoScored.com rating of 7.07 in that run.

Premier League side Arsenal are hot on their heels, however, with a 5-0 win over Burnley on Sunday helping the Gunners up the leaderboard. They’ve moved up at Manchester City’s expense, with the champions faltering in their 0-0 draw with Huddersfield, which saw them drop to 5th.

Alaves have surged up the rankings on account of a run of four wins from their last six league matches. They may have lost two of those six, but a 3-0 win at Malaga means they have a WhoScored.com rating of 7.05 over their last six La Liga outings. Their rise came at Hoffenheim’s expense, with the Bundesliga side dropping to 7th.
