Erik Lamela (Tottenham) / Toby Alderweireld (Tottenham) / Joshua King (Bournemouth) - 10 points
Teemu Pukki (Norwich) / Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Arsenal) - 11 points
Callum Wilson (Bournemouth) / Tammy Abraham (Chelsea) - 12 points
Callum Wilson was involved in Gareth Southgate’s England squad during the international break but failed to come off the bench in matches against both Bulgaria and Kosovo. Nevertheless, the Bournemouth striker returned to his club in good shape and scored twice in a 3-1 win over Everton at the weekend. Wilson’s contribution earned Bournemouth an extra two points and means he now has three goals in his last two league matches for the Cherries.
Tammy Abraham wasn’t even involved at all during the international break after being overlooked by Southgate in favour of Wilson. The Chelsea striker is smashing the door down for a senior England call-up after scoring a hat-trick in Chelsea’s 5-2 win over Wolves on Saturday. Abraham, who also scored an own goal to lessen his tally on Fanteam Fantasy Football, scored his treble from three attempts on goal. He now has seven goals in his last three games for Chelsea.
Serge Aurier (Tottenham) - 13 points
Serge Aurier was one of the players Mauricio Pochettino alluded to when claiming his Tottenham squad were unsettled before the European transfer window closed at the start of the month but the Ivory Coast international insists his mind is completely focused on Tottenham now. The 26-year-old made his first appearance of the season at the weekend and played a pivotal role in Tottenham’s 4-0 win over Crystal Palace. Aurier registered one assist and forced Patrick van Aanholt to steer the ball into his own net. Expect to see more of Aurier in the weeks to come.
Sadio Mane (Liverpool) - 14 points
Liverpool were forced to come from behind in Saturday’s early kick-off but ran out 3-1 winners at home to Newcastle, with Sadio Mane once again playing a key role in the victory. The 27-year-old scored twice for Jurgen Klopp’s side and earned the WhoScored Man of the Match award in the process. Mane now has four goals and one assist in five league appearances this season.
Son Heung-Min (Tottenham) - 15 points
Son Heung-Min scored his first goals of the season in Tottenham’s thrashing of Crystal Palace and almost had his first ever Premier League hat-trick, only to be denied by the side netting late on. The South Korea international scored twice from five shots in what was his best performance of the season to date.
