Man Utd trio on the rise in Premier League Player Form Rankings

Before we delve into the standings, it's time to remind you of how it all works. As always, our power rankings are based on a six-game period, weighted chronologically with the most recent outing carrying greater significance and so on.

Each player must have played in two of the last three and six of the last eight available Premier League matches for their side. Moreover, only league ratings are considered.

10) Roberto Firmino (Liverpool) - 7.48 form rating

Roberto Firmino was the most in-form player in the Premier League after gameweek 14 but after drawing a blank against West Brom on Sunday he now finds himself in 10th spot. The Brazilian has played a direct hand in four goals in his last six Premier League appearances.

9) Mason Mount (Chelsea) - 7.52 form rating

Mason Mount falls one place in our form guide off the back of Chelsea's humilating 3-1 defeat to Arsenal on Boxing Day. The 21-year-old was one of very few positives for Chelsea, as he managed three shots and registered four key passes. Mount has two assists across his last six Premier League appearances.

8) Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) - 7.54 form rating

Over 100,000 players on Premier League Fantasy Football triple captained Mo Salah for Liverpool's clash with Boxing Day, including us, only for the Egypitan to fire a blank against the Baggies. A WhoScored rating of 6.15 against West Brom is Salah's lowest in a Premier League game this season and as a result he drops from second to eighth in our form rankings. Nevertheless, he does have eight goal involvements in his last six Premier League appearances.

7) Anthony Martial (Manchester United) - 7.56 form rating

Anthony Martial makes the top-10 for the first time this season and is the lowest ranked player overall (104) to make our form guide in 2020/21. The 25-year-old has played a direct hand in four goals in his last three Premier League appearances.

6) Illan Meslier (Leeds) - 7.59 form rating

Illan Meslier is the second goalkeeper to make the top-10 this season after Burnley's Nick Pope. The 20-year-old was the WhoScored Man of the Match in Leeds' 1-0 win over Burnley over the weekend and averages 6.2 saves per game across his last six Premier League matches - a league high in that time.

5) Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa (Fulham) - 7.63 form rating

Fulham midfielder Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa makes his second appearance in the top-10 after a WhoScored Man of the Match display against Southampton on Boxing Day. A return of 10 tackles against Southampton is the second most in a Premier League match this season. Across Anguissa's last six Premier League appearances, he averages 3.3 dribbles pg and 7.5 tackles and interceptions combined per game.

4) Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City) - 7.68 form rating

Manchester City talisman Kevin De Bruyne drops one spot to fourth in our Premier League form guide. De Bruyne has still played a direct hand in five goals in his last six Premier League appearances but his best two performances in that spell are his fifth (9.02) and six (9.00) outings.

3) Marcus Rashford (Manchester United) - 7.69 form rating

Marcus Rashford brought up 50 Premier League goals for Manchester United against Leicester on Boxing Day, becoming the first youngest player behind Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo to reach the milestone. Rashford should have had a hat-trick after spurning two other great opportunities. Nevertheless, his contribution is enough to move up two places in our form rankings. He has played a direct hand in five goals in his last six league appearances.

2) Bruno Fenandes (Manchester United) - 7.72 form rating

Bruno Fernandes moves up from sixth to second in our Premier League power rankings after playing a direct hand in both of Manchester United's goals against Leicester on Boxing Day. Fernandes has scored or assisted seven goals in his last six Premier League appearances for the Red Devils.

1) Jack Grealish (Aston Villa) - 7.92 form rating

Beating Bruno Fernandes to top spot this week is Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish. The England international dropped down to fourth in our rankings last week but is back on top for the third time this season. Grealish, who is also the top rated player in the league overall this season, averages 2.8 shots per game, 3.2 dribbles pg and 5 key passes pg.
