Scummy challenge from Wood on Koscielny, not too dissimilar to Arnautovich's on Debuchy a number of seasons ago. It should have been a red but nope, Mike Dean is the league's most clueless ref. I'm glad Emery rested most of our first team regulars, though I was nervous when I saw Aubameyang's name on the team sheet. Luckily it panned out well and he finished as the joint top scorer despite starting fewer games than the Liverpool duo.
A sad 2018/2019 season for Arsenal. I hope Emery still have some Europa League magic. Arsenal need a big overhaul, some players maybe will improve with Emery next season. But some players are truely deadwood. A deadwood only worth to be burn. To win EPL Arsenal should play passionate football players. So, Arsenal should offload Mesut Ozil (a passionate Fortnite gamer, some said he played 5hrs a day) ASAP. If there is no other Football Club need Ozil, just sell him to Fortnite. Even if Arsenal sell Ozil for nothing, Arsenal maybe financially lost, but mentally Arsenal will start to play a passionate football, with 11 players on the field who know how to attack and defend as a team.
@totalfootball.433- It was better than last season though, which is probably all we could have asked for after a decade of mediocrity. I'm perfectly happy with Leno, Sokratis, Holding, Torreira, Aubameyang and Lacazette. I also hope that Emery can coach the errors out of Bellerin, Kolasinac and Xhaka, they have upsides which won't be easy to find in other players so they are worth another season. I would offload plenty of players from this squad (Mustafi, Elneny, Mkhitaryan, Oezil and others). Signing Rabiot on a free (depending on his wage demands), Umtiti for the reported £30m (which seems low to me) and upgrades at RW (Sarr), #10 (if Emery wants to play a 4-2-3-1) and a backup DM (could be Chambers) would constitute a good summer window imo.
I would be shocked if Burnley didn't win 2-1.
@SeuneMilmas Aren't you embarrassed by your own predictions by now ? Your success rate is below 30%. Even random guessing gives you 50% ...
@neumi17- I would be shocked if he was.
@neumi17 he needs to get the electric chair for his predictions to know what shocked really means.
@neumi17 i bet he's the bookmakers nightmare
@alxdru He's their payroll bro
Burnley win or draw
I think we may play a youth team here after the match vs Valenica
@Overmars- Cech, Lichtsteiner, Mustafi, Mavropanos, Monreal, Willock, Elneny, Guendouzi, Mkhitaryan, Nketiah, Iwobi. I don't mind if any if those players aren't in the Europa cup final team and 6 of them won't or shouldn't be at the club next year. I'd like to see Mavropanos, Willock and Nketiah play a full prem game too. I like all 3.
