Juventus will look to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan when the transfer window re-opens in January, reports Tuttosport.
The Serie A champions have begun the defence of their crown in disappointing fashion and currently find themselves in seventh place after 12 matches.
The Turin based side have identified Gundogan as a possible target in the New Year as they look to bolster their midfield options in their quest to secure domestic glory.
However, Max Allegri's team would face plenty of competition for his signature, with Liverpool, Manchester United and Barcelona supposedly interested in the Germany international.
Only Xabi Alonso (88.5) and Granit Xhaka (87.5) are averaging more passes per game in the Bundesliga this season than Gundogan (82.3), which has contributed to a respectable WhoScored rating of 7.48.
