Fulham sign Lemina on loan from Southampton

Fulham have signed Southampton midfielder Mario Lemina on a season-long loan deal with an option to buy.

The newly promoted Premier League outfit are looking to add greater Premier League experience to their squad and have turned to Lemina to bolster their midfield options.

Lemina spent last season on loan with Turkish giants Galatasaray after being deemed surplus to requirements by Southampton 12 months ago.

The 26-year-old was once linked with moves to the likes of Tottenham and Manchester United after a great run of form for Southampton.

However, the former Juventus midfielder has lost his way in the last two seasons and will now hope to kickstart his career at Craven Cottage.

Lemina made 20 league appearances for Galatasaray in 2019/20, averaging 2.3 tackles and 1.4 interceptions pg.

Moreover, the Gabon international boasted the second best dribble success rate (30+ attempted) in the Turkish Super Lig (82.6%).
