Team News

Gaziantep FK
Trabzonspor
  • Emre Tasdemir is set to deputise for the injured Godfrey Bitok.
  • Deian Sorescu will start as Mustafa Eskihallac is injured.
  • Quentin Daubin is also injured but he wasn't expected to start here anyway.
  • Huseyin Turkmen and Enis Destan, neither of whom were expected to start, are injured.
  • Cihan Canak is likely to deputise for the suspended Edin Visca.
  • As Stefan Savic is injured, Benjamin Mendy is expected to start at center back and Ozan Tufan in midfield.

Prediction

  • Gaziantep were beaten 3-1 by Galatasaray last time out. They were lucky not to be defeated with a much bigger margin despite playing with a 5-men defence. This was their third loss in a row and it is not becoming apparent that Inan might not yet be ready to take charge of a team in the Super Lig.
  • Trabzonspor shared points with Kayserispor in a 2-2 draw last time out. Although they created a plethora of chances, Gunes's team needed a late, late goal to salvage a point. Banza will certainly add strength to their attacking lineup but Gunes's priority will be improving his team's defending.
  • Both teams are struggling and trying to get out of a slump. Trabzonspor have more quality and a more experienced manager who has been in similar situations many times. An away win is likely here.
