- Motherwell manager Stuart Kettlewell named two changes to the Steelmen side that was demolished 4-1 by Dundee at Dens Park in midweek, before a late winner for the Well saw them leave Paisley with three points as they beat St Mirren 1-0.
- Aston Oxborough remained in goal behind Shane Blaney, who replaced Kofi Balmer, Dan Casey and Liam Gordon in the back three. Jair Tavares continued at right wing-back, with Steve Seddon remaining at left wing-back.
- Andy Halliday replaced Harry Paton to accompany Lennon Miller and Ewan Wilson in the middle of the park. The weekend matchwinner Tony Watt, who's ineligible for this game against his parent club, partnered Apostolos Stamatelopoulos in attack.
- Dundee United manager Jim Goodwin named just one change to the Terrors team that beat St Mirren for the third time this season with a 2-0 win at home, before Kilmarnock left it late to leave Tannadice with a 1-1 draw.
- Jack Walton continued in goal behind a back three of Kevin Holt, Declan Gallagher and Emmanuel Adegboyega. Will Ferry continued at left wing-back and Ryan Strain at right wing-back.
- David Babunski and Vicko Sevelj were given the nod in the middle of the park once more. Luca Stephenson supported a strike duo of Sam Dalby and Louis Moult, who took Glenn Middleton's place, in the starting eleven last Saturday.
