- Stephen Robinson named two changes to the St Mirren side that bounced back to claim a 1-1 draw away to Kilmarnock, as their unbeaten start to the Scottish Premiership season came to an end courtesy of a 3-0 defeat to Rangers in Paisley.
- Richard Taylor took Charles Dunne's place, to join Alex Gogic and Marcus Fraser in the defensive trio in front of Zach Hemming. Ryan Strain, who made his Australia debut during the break, was sent off against the Gers last time out.
- The only other alteration saw Greg Kiltie and Conor McMenamin - who netted for Northern Ireland against San Marino recently - supporting Toyosi Olusanya up front as opposed to Mikael Mandron.
- St Johnstone boss Steven MacLean made one change to the Saints side that was held at home by Livingston in a 1-1 draw, before they claimed a point at Pittodrie in a 0-0 stalemate against Aberdeen before the international break.
- Drey Wright started as an unorthodox right-back with Luke Robinson, Andy Considine and Liam Gordon who - despite being sent off against Aberdeen - was available for selection at Pittodrie after his red card was downgraded to yellow.
- The only alteration from the Livi game saw Matt Smith replace Dan Phillips, joining Sven Sprangler and Max Kucheriavyi in midfield, who missed out completely. Graham Carey and Dara Costelloe supported Luke Jephcott in attack.
