Team News

Arsenal
Chelsea
  • Jurrien Timber remains Arsenal's only confirmed absentee here.
  • Mikel Arteta may ring the changes for Tuesday's welcome of Chelsea, with Jorginho and Gabriel Martinelli coming in for Gabriel Jesus and Leandro Trossard.
  • Chelsea's injury issues have eased somewhat with just six players ruled out here.
  • Malo Gusto, Ben Chilwell and Cole Palmer have emerged as doubts.
  • Levi Colwill should return to training before the month is out though Tuesday's trip across the capital comes too soon for the young defender.

Prediction

  • Arsenal ended a miserable week with a hard-fought and vital 2-0 win at Wolves on Saturday night. Victory saw them end a three-game winless run and move back to the top of the Premier League, albeit having played a game more than title favourites Manchester City.
  • Chelsea's profligacy cost them on Saturday as they fell to a 1-0 FA Cup semi-final loss to City. Defeat ended an eight-game unbeaten run, though they have now failed to win in four away from Stamford Bridge.
  • The Blues lost this game 3-1 last season and a repeat could be on the cards on Tuesday night.

  • The game will have lot of goals as always it won't be boring trust me

  • @Ndumisoh , you used "will have" instead of "had"

  • @Ndumisoh Wow, you have a great sense of humour!

  • Chelsea Destroyed

  • BTTS No EA$Y!

  • @Oversonly You posted that with just a few minutes left lol

  • the best starting 11 for arsenal if no one injured thy can sweep all team left on PL

  • Chelsea are a joke outfit bottled it LMAO

  • @Marbella you have been more realistic than a lot of punts here, keep it up

  • 2-2 Gallagher player card, odegaard , haverts too score

  • Palmer definetly NOT playing.

  • Saka to score anytime. Chelsea has many absense players

  • I think Arsenal cant win today, due to impressive performance by Chelsea talented players, i see it 2:1 for Chelsea

  • @Ortega_10 Chelsea got steam rolled M8

  • @Ortega_10 lol... no

  • Btts very likely..draw or Chelsea also at a good value .

  • Btts draw is possible

  • @erbil666 agree... total over 4.5 goals in this match

  • Palmer's role has dramatically become a key .... check the line-ups first, guys... Chelsea heavily depend on him now

  • Right now. You don’t know which Arsenal you will get. Chelsea are a mess. They can create and not finish. They can score many goals too. Arsenal having lost to Villa at home in a way that gives them a mental block. Could happen vs Chelsea too.. if Chelsea can hold off Arsenal. Arsenal can flat out and concede. I can’t predict Arsenal anymore. May the best team win!

  • Pochettino said Palmer has an illness and is unlikely to play.He will have a late fitness test.

  • Arsenal 2-0

  • Kiwior vs Palmer, obvious winner of the duel. Still, Chelsea cannot score from positions my grandma would have had a hattrick. Sould be 2-1 or so.

  • @koziol.mutant none of them played today, but you won't miss any chance to criticize every polish player possible

  • @koziol.mutant Palmer is more a 10, than a 7 because he spends more time in the middle, so he'll have Jorginho to deal with, with Gabriel and Saliba just behind.

  • Arsenal haven't really turned up in the last 2 games at the Emirates (Bayern and Villa). They actually played better at Bayern and Wolves and this is a worry because this is a home game. Arteta needs to get the boys fired up for this one especially Martinelli, Saka and Odegaard. Those 3 will be key. Chelsea are an attacking threat themselves but they don't defend well. If Arteta manages to get Arsenal playing well, Arsenal will win regardless how Chelsea plays. I predicta 3-2 home win.

  • @GoonerRSA Martinelli will score. He always scores in big games.

  • bore draw

  • @FF2021 you just hopeless now, get a Life bro
