Team News

Chelsea
Arsenal
  • Chelsea's list of absentees continues to get no smaller, but captain Reece James is now edging closer to a full return.
  • Axel Disasi is a minor doubt here, but should be available to start alongside Thiago Silva in the centre of defence.
  • Jurrien Timber remains a long-term absentee for the Gunners, while Leandro Trossard looks set to miss this one, having come off against Manchester City with an injury two weeks ago.
  • Bukayo Saka and William Saliba did not play a part for their respective national teams over the break, but will be assessed prior to this one, and should get the nod to start.

Prediction

  • Mauricio Pochettino's Chelsea have now won each of their last three matches in all competitions.
  • The Blues were comfortable 4-1 victors at Burnley last time out, and will hope to bring confidence into Saturday's clash.
  • Arsenal remain unbeaten, and currently sit level on points with leaders Tottenham, after the crucial victory against Manchester City two weeks ago.
  • The Gunners have won each of the last three Premier League meetings between the two sides, and haven't lost at Stamford Bridge since 2018.
  • In this fixture last season, Mikel Arteta's side took home all three points after Gabriel Magalhaes' second half finish.

  • Dear Poch, don't be an idiot! Only fools ruin what is good, if something doesn't need fixing why bother? You ruined a setup, yes goalkeeper error and all, but those subs were pointless especially Noni you never used all along or a resurgent James...fuck Jackson

  • @Aei Totally agree with you. I see Poch is a weak tactician and mr. Jackson is undoubtedly useless. Also I don't understand why Enzo, who is a very craft player, has so bad shooting.

  • 2-3

  • 1-1

  • Bet W1

  • Draw.

  • Arsenal should give chance to Ramsdale. If you want to keep 2 good goalkeepers in the future.

  • @Arsenal12345 Huh? What does this have to do with my comment?

  • Arsenal Win.

  • Sterling to score, both to score and more than 2 goals.

  • I like the predicted line up except that I prefer that Arteta starts Partey instead of Vieira since this is an away game against a bit team. Managers like to start players against their old clubs so I suspect Arteta will start his 3 favourites Nketiah, Jorginho and Havertz which will obviously weakened Arsenal. Chelsea have been all over the place this season and if Arteta picks the strongest line up, then I see a 0-1 win for Arsenal.

  • Partey should in first line to replace harvetz or joginho. Partey should partner with Rice in first line.

  • Partey should in firt line

  • Chelsea will not lose

  • Arsenal to score 2+ goals in this match and probably Chelsea to pull one back of Arsenal slack. The intensity Arsenal applied vs City unfortunately Chelsea have no tactics or players to sustain same. Arsenal have goal scorers from all over their midfield and front line where Chelsea have dysfunctional wingers and attackers. Arsenal also have a better defence and keeper. 0:3 final score!

  • @albgunn I hope you are right. I've never seen Arsenal winning by more than 2 goals at Stamford Bridge.

  • Arsenal still needs to worry about Sevilla match after Chelsea. Chelsea to win this match.

  • @xxl92 LOL your comments are basically what is called "heart over mind". Why wouldn't Arsenal worry about both matches?

  • Chelsea have Won 1 of their last 11 home league games.

  • 1-2 or 0-2

  • 2-2

  • @FF2021 bravo
