- Pavel Kaderábek returns from a one-match ban to start on the right flank.
- Robert Zulj could get a chance in central midfield, with Kerem Demirbay and Lukas Rupp both injured.
- Lukasz Piszczek or Julian Weigl might have to help out at centre-back, with Sokratis suspended and Ömer Toprak unlikely to recover from a muscle injury in time.
- Manuel Akanji is expected to help out in the second centre-back spot, with Marcel Schmelzer and Jeremy Toljan possibly filling in on the flanks.
