Southampton played well. There was a possibility of them being in holiday mode but they always seem to play well at home against us. Nobody played terribly for us although Welbeck was a bit quiet. Oezil's 6 key passes takes him to 81 (more than Hazard, Barkley and Silva despite playing fewer games- this in a "bad" season for him). Alexis' goal was nice. A fake with his right foot then finished well with his left. We wont know until a couple of days' time how bad Chamberlain's hamstring injury is. If it is a grade 1 then that is generally a couple of weeks out. Fingers crossed. Bellerin now has a chance to play at least a couple of games in the position ideal for him.

Ox will have redmond in his pocket.Kosc can obviously do an easy job with Gabbiadini.i see alot of problems on the left with Monreal & Holding though.Tadic is a very clever player and can easily cut in and create or score.so Soton might score a goal.Thank God Van Dijk is not playing,otherwise he would have reduced Giroud to shreds
